Pascua Yaqui Fire Station No. 1

Breckenridge Group was responsible for designing the largest fire station in southern Arizona for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. The project included the design and construction of a new 26,125 sq ft fire station/emergency medical services building. The Fire Station houses up to 12 firefighters with four apparatus bays, sleeping quarters, dayroom, large training room, and kitchen. The goal of this fire station was also to incorporate an emergency medical station to help during a natural disaster. The District Command Center, in conjunction with the EMS facility, houses a biohazard area and a small triage emergency room.
